1. What I don't like about this image: - Harsh shadow from the tip of her nose - Hot spots on left side of her face 2. What I don't like about this image: - Posing? - Not enough depth of field feeling? Behind the scene of the above image

Thanks Roman, but if I start listing all the things I like, then I will probably sound like a self promoting arrogant bastard! J/K, I like these images, but I am more interested in getting negative feedbacks.

Im not sure you should say either on your thread, let the images speak for themselves, and for us to add our comments +ve or -ve All you are doing either way in conditioning a response See, I quite like #1, but I don't now

I'm backing what Darren says. definitive wrote: What I don't like about this image: If you know what you dont like about your images, why post them ? Seems you're feeding a negative line. Why not simply post them and do what seemingly everyone else does, and either offer them up for C&C, or say you like them and see what responses you get. I think you'd benefit a lot more by removing the : definitive wrote: What I don't like about this image:

i like the lighting in number 1.. i also like the fact you have shot a bikini like a catalouge shoot and not a zoo weekly shoot.. well done!
the third image she looks all too "hippy" in the hips (no not a 70s far out wild child) i think with her figure and the outfit, the poses, need to be more sophisticated and simpler.. not so over angled.. oh and your head is in the way.. that red just puts the whole mood off!!! hahaha
the binkni itself, is soft and playful and floral.. i would have go the model to go with that line of thought!

Just curious as why you would post pics that you dont like when you promote on your website
"Why attend a FHphoto workshop? As a passionate photographer I enjoy instructing people who share the same passion how to improve themselves and I have the ability push people out of their comfort zone and squeeze the best out of them.
Hands On Experience. There are numerous amount of information, video, tutorials, etc on the internet. Most of these contents are free, but there is nothing more frustrating than following a tutorial online and have no-one to answer your questions. Workshop is a place for you to build on what you know and practice new techniques and receive instantaneous feedback either from myself or other students. One thing to remember is to come with an open mind, I can lead you to water but cannot force you to drink it"
why wouldnt you post pictures that you are HAPPY with as this may help drum up business......To me it looks like you really cant pull off what your trying to advertise to future clients ???? Just dont make sence to post negative pics that you dont like and then let everyone know why you dont like them... Listen to Longshots as he has been in this business a long time......post for CC and not fish for the negative Just my 2 cents worth

OK I have already warned you about promoting your workshops, under the thin disguise of "you happened to shoot this at Sandgate". So far everything you've posted has been a direct result of your workshops and they link to your website/blog advertising your services.
And can I raise this point after reading this line from your website
"Why do I teach? Should Not Be a Black Art. Sometimes, the photographic community holds in all of their secrets and is very reluctant to share with beginner photographers who needs a hand."
Maybe you should speak to Russell again, as one who seems to ask him lots of questions, from what he's said and done here, he seems to be extremely happy to share.
It always naffs me off when people make this type of comment: " the photographic community holds in all of their secrets ", when the reality is clearly not true; and interestingly you are saying it to emphasise that you will share your "knowledge" - for a price.
So as far as I and other moderators think, you're welcome to post a topic in Work and Services, but you are not welcome to post these form of "promotions" in any other section of BP.

Why must people pay for your "6 years" of experience when Russell Fleming shares his knowledge of 20 years for nothing?

What really lets this all down is the INCREDIBLE EGO that's getting in the way.....Such a shame, as I think there is a grain of talent to be seen.....somewhere there....
