I like #1 especially, lovely colours, very pastelly (not sure that's even a word!!)

I love the colours in the first one also
however (and this is just my totally untrained and quite possibly incorrect opinion), the light and shadows on the front wall of the boathouse(?) building are a little bit distracting to me, keeps drawing my eye when i know i really want to follow the line of the pic out to the water and the sky

I totally dig the first one but in my honest opinion you should cut out the current foreground (sand)

What are peoples thoughts on these two crops? Or does someone have a better suggestion for a crop?
