ok .. can i suggest ...

that whilst its a good attempt to light the room

you need to look at perspective and colour balance..

the walls are all over the place (not straight)

and its very warm ..

do you know how to correct perspective etc.... (im asking cause i don't know if you do or not)

Hey Russ I'm with you, perspective is the key, and a wide crop is usually a no no for me, though here it's not too bad.

Re White Balance, I think the warmth helps a little in this one, gives a bit of a homely feel. Which I guess is ideal in this situation. :)



My Advice though, try shooting it without flashes, and find out how to shoot it without, then once you get that, find how to add flash to compliment existing light. It's hard at first, but once you nail it, it works wonders!

A good first attempt, keep at it.

As with above, slanted verts are a big no-no for me, just doesnt work. Also the walls are warm and prob dont look like the actual paint colour, try and keep it as real to life as possible.

attempted to fix perspective, i think the cream coloured walls give the warm feeling?
